 | To hear speech and signals, workers often lift an earcup or remove earmuffs completely. Even limited exposures to dangerous noise greatly decrease effective protection levels. Now workers can have the best of both worlds with the PTL Earmuff. With single button simplicity, one earcup be comes activated in listening mode for a 30 second interval. To terminate the mode before 30 seconds, simply push the button. To activate another listening interval, push it again. Listening mode allows unmuffled speech to be safely amplified to 87dB. Pivoting earcups tilt to easily fit most facial profiles, and the battery compartment for 1 AA battery (not included) is designed for easy access.
